2P!England x Child!Reader - Memories

"Daddy! Daddy!" you jumped up and down as your father, Oliver, looked up from the book he was reading.

"Yes poppet?"

You stop jumping and smiled, "Do you know how mommy looks like?"

"I-"

"When did you first meet her?"

"Poppet. I actually never seen or met your mother." Oliver told, which confused you in result.

"Huh? What do you mean?" you asked as you look at your dad with your big [e/c] eyes.

"I never met or knew your mother. I just found you outside and took you in." Oliver explained.

"Do you still remember that day? Can you tell me?"

"Well..."

"Pleeeeaaasssseee!" you said as you put up a puppydog face.

"Awww~! How cute~! Okay, I'll tell!"

"Yay!"

Your daddy scooted abit and you sat beside him.

You looked at him, waiting for him start.

"It was when I was at home alone, making cupcakes. Al and Matt when out to do something while Francois is out for business. Then I heard the doorbell ring... I walked to the door and opened it. To my surprise, no one was there but a baby laying inside the basket. So I took her in" Oliver told.

"And that baby was me, right?"

"Yes~ Oh! I aslo remembered ho your brother can't take care of you properly." He chuckled.

"How?"

"Well, I told them that I'd be gone for two days and that I needed them to take care of you. And when I came back, the house was a big mess. Al was found lying on the backyard while Matt was found lying of the dinning room table and Oh! You were found awake, hugging your stuffed bear that Matt gave you~ You were so cute~ Especially when you said your first word~"

"My first word?"

"Uh-huh! It was 'daddy'"

"What about uncle Francois? What happened to him?"

"He had a business to do in Paris. I remembered that one time I left you at his room and when he arrived, he didn't seem to have noticed you until you said 'daddy'"

You giggled, "What's his reaction?"

"He fainted~"

You laughed along with your father.

"There was also that time where you hold on to me tightly and never let go." Oliver smiled, sadly.

You noticed his voice cracked when he said 'never let go'. You also noticed tears sliding down his cheek so you hugged him, making him look surprise.

He then proceed to hug you back, feeling somewhat abit comfortable.

"Don't worry, daddy! I'll never leave you! I promise!"

"Thank you poppet~"

"Can we bake some cupcakes now?" I haven't eaten one today!"

Oliver wiped his tears before saying, Alright~! Lets go to the kitchen, shall we?"

"Yay!" you got up and ran to the kitchen with Oliver laughing as he follows his daughter to the kitchen.
